Saturday was my brother-in-law's birthday. He turned 15. Since I didn't grow up with brothers, I don't really know what boys like. So I asked Alan what he thought and he said - candy. Plus since he's 15 and starting to be able to grow facial hair, he also really likes mustaches and thinks they're pretty sweet. And mustaches seem to be the trend right now because I see them on everything! Personally, I like a clean shaven man. ;-)
So we went to Walmart and bought a big bright orange bowl for only $1 and some candy. I had some letter stickers and my husband found mustache clip art that we printed. I then mod podged the mustache on the bowl and stuck on the letters to say "Matt's Stache." We filled it with candy and there you go!
I also thought this would be a great idea for dad's for Father's Day this weekend. You can put your hubby's name or put "Dad's Stache." That way he can have his own personal candy stash for his desk at work or so the kids know at home that it's only for dad.
