Edible Play Dough

Ever since I've been on pinterest, I've searched and searched looking for things I can do with my toddler.  She's at that age where she can't quite do preschool stuff and sticks everything in her mouth so it's very limited right now.  But I came across a recipe for edible play dough from Our Best Bites and was like Eureka, I've found it!  Something Bammer can play with and eat if she so desires - which of course she did.

I had some fun shaped cookie cutters on hand that I pulled out for her, made the play dough recipe, and put it all on a cookie sheet so it wouldn't get too messy.  She actually got the hang of the cookie cutters and put them to work.  Once she got bored, she ate some.  And then just kept eating it so I decided she was done for the time.  But overall I found it quite a success!

Here's the recipe:

1 C creamy peanut butter
2 C powdered sugar
1/2 C honey

I just mixed it all by hand, but you can use a mixer too. This was more than enough for one child, so next time I'll cut the recipe in half.  Have fun!
